PSG never flinched. In a Stamford Bridge blazing at kick-off but quickly silenced, the Parisians delivered a performance of remarkable maturity to win 0–3 against Chelsea and book their place in the Champions League quarter-finals. A collective masterclass brilliantly orchestrated by Luis Enrique.

From the opening minutes, Paris impose their tempo. Fluid passing, coordinated pressing, technical mastery: Chelsea are pushed back. In the 3rd minute, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia opens the scoring with a clinical finish, curling the ball with the inside of his foot into the right side-netting. PSG take the lead and, more importantly, seize psychological control of the match. Chelsea try to respond, but the Parisian defense, compact and disciplined, smothers every London attempt. Luis Enrique’s men press high, recover quickly, and dictate the rhythm.

Bradley Barcola brimming with confidence as Paris accelerate
In the 14th minute, Paris strike again. Achraf Hakimi bursts down the right after a crisp one-two with Warren Zaïre-Emery, fires in a driven cross… and Bradley Barcola arrives to smash the ball into the top corner. A stunning goal, the mark of a player rediscovering confidence and efficiency. The question arises: Is Bradley Barcola becoming the attacking weapon Paris were hoping for in the final stretch of the season? Chelsea attempt a push in the 22nd minute, but the Parisian back line remains impenetrable. In the stands, PSG supporters dominate the chants and silence Stamford Bridge. In the 31st minute, another Parisian combination gives Khvicha Kvaratskhelia a chance to make it 0–3, but the Georgian misses the target.
Half-time: Paris lead, Paris control, Paris impress.
A one-sided second half. As the teams return from the break, the aggregate score stands at a brutal 7–2 for PSG. Chelsea make several changes, even removing some struggling key players. Paris, meanwhile, manage the game with calm authority. In the 58th minute, goalscorer Bradley Barcola makes way for Désiré Doué. Chelsea bring on Alejandro Garnacho, Romeo Lavia and Liam Delap in a desperate attempt to revive a sinking team.

But nothing works.
In the 60th minute, Marvey Safonov produces another monumental reflex save, confirming his XXL performance. Moments later, a chaotic sequence in the Chelsea box falls to young Senny Mayulu, who lashes a powerful strike into the top corner. 0–3. PSG fans unleash a wave of “OLÉ” in a humiliated Stamford Bridge. Luis Enrique then protects his key players: Nuno Mendes and Ousmane Dembélé come off for Lucas Hernández and Gonçalo Ramos. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, slightly knocked, is replaced by Kang-In Lee. In midfield, Vitinha delivers a masterful performance, the true metronome of Paris’ game.
Chelsea collapse, Paris march on
Frustration spreads through the London stands, with many supporters leaving before the final whistle. In the PSG section, one chant rings out : “This is the capital, nothing stops us.” The 2025 Club World Champion falls heavily to the FIFA Intercontinental Champion. Final score: 0–3. PSG, sovereign and serene, advance to the quarter-finals with rare authority.
